We expect that this list will be a "living document" in that it is expected occasionally to have added or possibly subtracted events, and possibly modified quality evaluations or appended remarks, meaning CAUSE, SSC, and/or NOTES. One of the earliest uses of this list was by Gopalswamy et al. [J. Geophys. Res., 103, 307, 1998]. See the MFI Bibliography for 1997.
